The most helpful of the following Internet sites are marked with an asterisk, and additional sites may be located using any of the Search Engines located on the Library web page, such as Google, Alta Vista, or Yahoo. Don't forget to use ProQuest or SIRS Discoverer or Researcher for articles from newspapers and magazines about dancers, choreographers, and dance groups. The Library subscribes to Dance Magazine, and we have many years of back files for it. It is a superb source of information on dancers, choreographers, and dance groups. Also, Encyclopaedia Britannica Online is a good source to consult first. If, for example, you have never heard of Merce Cunningham or Petipas or Fokine, you will be introduced to these people by consulting the articles under "Dance,""Modern Dance," or "Choreography."
