Welcome to 3rd grade! Summer is a wonderful time to enjoy all sorts of activities, including reading. Because you are entering 3rd grade, certain summer reading requirements need to be fulfilled. All entering students are required to read the mystery book:
In addition, two more mysteries and two other general reading books are required for a minimum of FIVE books you need to read over the summer. Listed below are suggestions to help you fulfill your summer reading requirements. Feel free to read other authors and titles over the summer.
Record those books you read over the summer on the Summer Reading Log. Bring the completed Log with you on the first day of school in September and give it to your new homeroom teacher.
